Abstract
Beaded Minute males are not intersexual, but are often aberrant because of incomplete development of the anal and genital imaginal discs-as are also Beaded Minute females. Even if they are considered to be intersexual, the abnormality may be induced by any one of at least seven different Minutes, or by other independent combinations of genes, and therefore cannot be used to support the view that there are very few loci involved in the determination of sex.
