Abstract
Heavy flavor physics, in particular B and tau physics results from the B Factories, currently provides strong constraints on models of physics beyond the Standard Model. A new generation of colliders, Super B Factories, with 50 to 100 times the luminosity of existing colliders, can, in a dialog with LHC and ILC, provide unique clarification of new physics phenomena seen at those machines.

The effort to build a Super B Factory is at this point being spearheaded by a small number of dedicated people who are convinced of the importance of studying the effects of physics beyond the Standard Model in the flavor sector. An incomplete list of those who have contributed the study of the physics and the accelerator design would include P. Raimondi, M. Biagini, J. Seeman, M. Sullivan, U. Weinands, M. Giorgi, F. Forti, I. Koop, A. Seryi, M. Zobiv, D. Shatilov, A. Novokhastski, A. Roodman, T. Gerson, N. Neri, E. Paoloni, D. Leith, D. MacFarlane, F. Porter, and J. Albert.Attached Files
