Reply [to "Comment [on "Should bulk cloudwater or fogwater samples obey Henry's law?" by S. N. Pandis and J. H. Seinfeld]"]

Abstract

The assumption of Henry's law equilibrium is routinely used to describe the partitioning of a species between the gas and the aqueous phases (fog, cloud, rain) in the atmosphere. Several experimental studies have attempted to evaluate the validity of this assumption for the atmosphere and in the majority of them significant deviations have been reported.
