Deep inelastic scattering off nuclear matter

Abstract
The exclusion principle for quarks is found to modify their momentum distribution in nuclei so as to enhance deep inelastic scattering nearx=1 by a factor of 2.5 ± 0.3 over and above the conventional Fermi-smearing correction.
