Leptolepis nevadensis, a New Cretaceous Fish

Abstract
Leptolepis nevadensis n. sp., the first known species of the genus from North America, is described from the "Weber conglomerates" east of Eureka, Nevada. The advanced characters of the structure of the fish suggest Cretaceous age.
