IPAC datasets and on-line services

Abstract

The Infrared Processing and Analysis Center (IPAC) was created by NASA to process and analyze data from the Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS) in 1983. Now that the IRAS work is completed, IPAC exists to perform data processing and science support activities that are critical to other NASA infrared astronomy missions. But the IRAS archive lives on, and continues to be used extensively, both for ongoing research and to prepare for future missions.
