Abstract
In this review I concentrate on three features of the small-scale structure of radio sources: their morphology and classification, the superluminal motion, and some statistics. Fortunately, a number of excellent review articles have appeared recently which bear on these and related topics, so my task is rather easy. I especially recommend the volumes Superluminal Radio Sources [1] and The Impact of VLBI on Astrophysics and Geophysics [2], both of which contain informative reviews as well as numerous short articles.
