Abstract
1. Several new mutant types of pseudoobscura are described. 2. New linkage maps of all the chromosomes are presented. 3. The known parallel mutations of pseudoobscura and Melanogaster are discussed. 4. The following homologies are established, there being no clearly exceptional data. 5. Few or no translocations or inversions across spindle-attachments have become established since these species diverged from a common ancestor; but at least nineteen inversions within the separate arms have become established. 6. The right arm of the X inpseudoobscura has the same loci as the left limb of III inmelanogaster and simulans. This same material lies in X inaffinis, obscura, and willistoni. It constitutes chromosome III of virilis.
