Abstract
The Cryogenic Dark Matter Search experiment (CDMS) is using Phonon+ Ionization detectors to search for Dark Matter in the form of Weakly Interactive Massive Particles (WIMPs). We report the current status of the experiment and its perspective to achieve the sensitivity goal of the cross section: σ_(WIMP-nucleon)∼1×10⁻⁴⁴ cm² (Spin independent).
