- Creators

Abstract
The present lack of uniformity and precision in the use of terms applied to surface forms of the erosion cycle makes evident the need for a revision and simplification of the system of nomenclature. In the following article the writers review the concept of the erosion cycle and propose a logical terminology applicable to the humid and the arid cycles of erosion. Some of the terms now in use are redefined and a few new ones are suggested.
