In vivo Functional Imaging Using Photoacoustic Microscopy

Abstract

Photoacoustic microscopy extends the current depth limit of the high resolution optical imaging modalities while maintaining a comparable ratio of imaging depth to axial resolution. Based on spectral measurements, functional imaging is achieved in vivo.
