Asymptotics of Chebyshev Polynomials, II. DCT Subsets of ℝ

Abstract
We prove Szegő–Widom asymptotics for the Chebyshev polynomials of a compact subset of ℝ which is regular for potential theory and obeys the Parreau–Widom and DCT conditions.
