Abstract
We investigate possible scenarios of light-squark production at the LHC as a new mechanism to produce Higgs bosons in association with jets. The study is motivated by the SUSY search for H+jets events, performed by the CMS collaboration on √s = 8, 13 TeV data using the razor variables. Two simplified models are proposed to interpret the observations in this search. The constraint from Run I and the implications for Run II and beyond are discussed.
Additional Information
This work is funded by the California Institute of Technology High Energy Physics under Contract DE-SC0011925 with the United States Department of Energy. The authors are grateful to the international collaborations of scientists whose work resulted in the discovery of the Higgs boson at the LHC in 2012 and especially the SUSY searches group of the CMS collaboration. The work is motivated by results obtained as part of the Caltech PhD thesis of Alex Mott.Attached Files
