A One-Dimensional Heterodyne Lens-Free OPA Camera

Abstract

This paper presents a thin silicon-photonics integrated one-dimensional lens-free camera based on an optical phased array receiver on an SOI process. The camera has beam steering range in excess of 60° with no blind spots, a beam width of 0.74°, and is used to form images.
