Abstract
This report, and the accompanying reports of the Standing Committee on Inter-regional Connectivity (SCIC), a technical panel of the International Committee on Future Accelerators (ICFA), serve as comprehensive lecture notes, updated to February 2015, for the lectures on Global Networking delivered at the Varenna Summer School in July 2014.
