Interactive Performance Display and Debugging using the NCUBE Real-Time Graphics System

Abstract

The NCUBE Real-Time Graphics System is an option for NCUBE/7 and NCUBE/1O hypercube systems. It is a parallel graphics interface that is able to display up to 30 frames per second of hypercube output. Systems such as this are potentially well suited to real time display of output from parallel programs. This paper discusses the issues of real time display for performance monitors on MIMD computers that have a high bandwidth graphics interface such as the one mentioned above. Several monitors for an asynchronous parallel
