Abstract
We report on the stepwise solvated complexes of isoquinoline with water, methanol, and acetone under supersonic jet conditions. Lifetimes, dispersed fluorescence and excitation spectra are presented for different solute-solvent complexes. These studies reveal manifestations of solute-solvent hydrogen-bonding and of excited state hydrogen bond dissociation.
