Maturation of vesicular stomatitis virus: Electron microscopy of surface replicas of infected cells

Abstract
Approximately 10% of chick cells infected with vesicular stomatitis virus exhibit long, virus-specific processes originating at the edge of the cell which appear to be actively releasing virus.
