Application of the Schwinger Variational Principle to Electron-Molecular Ion Scattering

Abstract
We present some preliminary results of the application of the Schwinger variational principle to electron-molecular ion scattering. The results of this application to e-H_2^+ scattering in the static-exchange approximation are encouraging.
