Electrical Effects of Substituent Groups. Reactivities of Substituted Phenylpropiolic Acids

Abstract
Measurements have been made of the reactivities of some substituted phenylpropiolic acids. It is concluded that the inductive and field effects are of comparable importance in the transmission of the electrical influences of dipolar substituents its to a reactive center.
