Carbon-13 Magnetic Resonance Spectra of Some Polypropylenes and Ethylene-Propylene Copolymers
Chicago
Abstract
The natural-abundance ^(13)C magnetic resonance spectra of isotactic, syndiotactic, and atactic polypropylenes and ethylene-propylene copolymers have been determined at 15.08 MHz. The chemical shifts of the carbons of the polymers have been compared with calculated values. The microtacticity of the polymers is discussed in terms of their ^(13)C spectra.
