Elementary Particles of Conventional Field Theory as Regge Poles - II
Chicago
Abstract
It was recently conjectured that in the perturbation expansion of certain renormalizable field theories "elementary" particles, which appear in lowest order as fixed singularities in the complex angular momentum plane, turn into moving Regge poles as a result of radiative corrections. Two cases were considered (1) a spin ½ "nucleon" coupled to a neutral vector meson, (ll) a spin 0 "nucleon" coupled to a neutral vector meson.
