Abstract
According to Darwin's staunchest supporters, all design- the complexity and excellence of living things- can be attributed to the work of the blind watchmaker, a mindless algorithm of mutation and natural selection chugging away over a long period of time. This issue contains two new demonstrations of the power of the watchmaker's approach to solve complex biological problems and also reports a nice addition to the watchmaker's tool kit.
