A lower limit on the mass of ^5Be
Chicago
Abstract
The reaction ^3He(^3He,n) has been studied at incident energies between 18.0 and 26.0 MeV to search for the "ground state" of ^5Be. No structure attributable to ^5Be was found, indicating that the "ground state" of ^5H is unbound to ^3H + 2p by at least 2.1 MeV.
