Blur into focus

Abstract

Sir Morgan and Benton suggest that the human visual system does not have a general motion deblurring mechanism because the threshold for descriminating the spacing between two bars is degraded significantly by image motion. However, image motion has only modest effects when compared with static spatial blur.
