Backscattering from crystals using molecular hydrogen ions

Abstract
We have observed backscattering spectra of H^+, H^+_2 and H^+_3 ions incident on Si with the same velocity. Proton spectra from H^+ and H^+_2 ions are essentially the same, but the spectrum from H^+_3 ions is significantly different.
