Abstract
The cardiovascular system is comprised of two main components: central (the heart) and peripheral (the blood vessels). The heart, as the center of this system, is responsible for supplying the blood to all body systems such as the brain, liver, muscle, kidney, skin, and blood vessels. Therefore, efficient functioning of the heart is imperative for the functionality of all other essential organs.
