Abstract
Was the early Earth molten? Where did the Moon come from? What was the cause of lunar magnetism? How did continents form? Those long standing questions continue to arouse interest, and they may not be much closer to resolution. But at the 15th Lunar & Planetary Science Conference, the session on the physics and chemistry of planets provided significant constraints.
