Abstract
This paper contains an exposition of certain aspects of the theory of Spector classes. The general plan is as follows: In Section 1 we present a review of the structure theory, mainly developed in Chapter 9 of Moschovakis [1]. In Section 2 we give a comprehensive list of examples from various areas of definability theory. Finally, in Section 3, we deal with characterization and representation theorems.
