p̅ p Annihilation into π+ρ at Small Angles Between 1 and 2 GeV / c
Abstract
We have studied the process p̅ p into π+X- using wire spark chambers. The data cover the angular range of cosθp̅ π+* between 0.96 and 1.0 at several incident momenta between 1 and 2 GeV / c. The reaction p̅ p→π+ρ- was observed with (dσ / dΩ)* of the order of 100 μb/sr at several momenta.
