The Equations of Motion Method: An Approach to the Dynamical Properties of Atoms and Molecules

Abstract
The equations of motion method is discussed as a many-body approach to the calculation of excitation energies and oscillator strengths. Various features of the method and the results of its applications to diatomic and polyatomic molecules are discussed.
