Abstract
The present paper is based upon the author's recent investigation of "The Partition of Energy among Seismic Waves Reflected and Refracted at the Earth's Core.'' Its purpose is the expression of the amplitudes of certain waves reflected and refracted at the earth's core in terms of the horizontal and vertical components of the displacement which they produce at the surface of the earth.
