Future Studies of Planetary Rings by Spaceprobes

Abstract

Recent observations by the Pioneer and Voyager missions have been the basis for major advances in our know ledge and understanding of the Jovian and Saturnian rings. Future spaceprobe observations offer further opportunities for studying the ring systems of giant planets.
